We had a chat with Chris Quinlan, CEO of Krios about their upcoming token sale and the conversation went thus;
Hello Chris, can you briefly introduce us to Krios?
Krios is bringing to the market, a new way to collaborate with marketing professionals from around the globe. Be it Copywriters, Graphic Designers, Content Writers or Influencers, Krios will allow you to connect, collaborate and execute all on one platform.
The challenge that businesses face with outsourcing marketing is the large number of platforms you need to manage. You need to recruit, communicate, project manage, share files, run ad campaigns and make payments and each of these require a separate platform.
Krios will run its own digital currency, KRI, to remove any hassles with bank systems and currency conversions.
When did you decide to start the project and what was that one thing that finally gave you the push?
The idea has been floating around for a couple of years in various forms. What finally kicked it into gear was looking at the home screen of my phone and seeing the notifications on 7 different messaging apps. It just reinforced how crazy it is to have to be going in an out of different applications and platforms to do simple tasks.
Who are your competitors and how does Krios set itself apart?
There is no one in the marketplace doing what Krios does so we don’t have any competition from a direct individual platform. Dealing with standalone apps is a different story.
When working with their marketing team, Krios will allow people to replace all the different platforms they currently deal with.
Imagine just one platform to do what you currently do with Fiverr, Freelance, Odesk, Skype, Viber, Voxer, Messenger, Whatsapp, Messages, Email, Asana, Basecamp, Trello, TeamworkPM, Podio, Evernote, Dropbox, Drive, Box, WeTransfer, Paypal, Western Union and more.
Plus, we will be integrating with the Facebook Ads platform, Twitter, LinkedIn and more to allow people to also run and manage their ad campaigns from within the Krios platform.
What is the market share size you see Krios attaining in the next 2 years?
The Digital marketing space is a $36 Billion dollar a year industry with a lot of major players. Our 2 year goal is to have 1% of the market transacting through the Krios platform.
How do you plan to create an ecosystem around the project?
We have already been contacting major influencers in the social media space and businesses to build a community for our first beta test. The feedback has been amazing and very encouraging that Krios is going to provide a very valuable service. Our current network are already referring us to other businesses and service providers and this virality will continue to grow.
A portion of the funds raised is earmarked for marketing. We’ll be launching our own digital campaigns to raise awareness and continue to grow our young community.
When do you expect KRI to be trading on exchanges?
We are currently in the process of finalising arrangements with our first major exchange. The exchange is one of the top 5 in the world in regards to trading volume and will be listed before the end of February 2018.
Briefly run us through how the process of KRI token sale will be done?
Our ICO opens on January 8 and runs till Feb 16. 500 Million tokens are available with packages available from $100. Payments are accepted in USD as well as a range of digital currencies.
We will be using coinpayments and paypal as payment gateways to allow all participants simple ways to buy, whether through transferring ETH or paying with a card.
